Cyclologic was founded in 2012, but its founder, Paraic McGlynn, is not new to the world of fitting. In fact, in some circles, Paraic is known as the “Professor”. One thing is for certain, he is known world-wide as an innovator in the world of fitting, biomechanics, and athletic training.
Paraic, a native of Ireland and former successful Cat 1 racer himself, has been coaching and fitting elite athletes world-wide since the early 1990’s. He has studied extensively and is well versed in all aspects of cycling, biomechanics, and physiology. He has worked with and trained Olympians, world champions, Tour de France cyclists, and triathletes at all levels. A short list of his credentials includes:
• Director of Applied Cycling Science at the Serrota International Cycling Institute (SICI) and was responsible for the total revision of the SICI Fit School curriculum.
• Director of Operations at FASTER, one of the world’s most comprehensive cycling performance centers. While at FASTER, he helped to establish it as first operation of its kind that utilizes a cycling specific wind tunnel (built by Purely Custom), 3D fitting laboratory, metabolic testing lab, retail, service, and recovery suite all under one roof.
• Has continually consulted with a variety of companies and other entities in the cycling world to develop leading edge tools designed to enhance the performance and overall satisfaction of athletes and serious cyclists. These tools include bike fitting tools, orthotics, bicycle frames, and motion analysis methodologies.
• A regular contributor to national and international cycling publications, and is a regular speaker at cycling science and motion analysis conferences world-wide.
Cyclologic, located in Scottsdale, Arizona, was founded to create an education, research, consulting, and comprehensive fitting solutions business that is dedicated to world class service and technology. The company uses all of Purely Custom’s fit bikes and fitting tools as part of its daily operations and school of fitting.
